Cornwall Gets Behind X-Factor Hopeful

Pirate FM has learnt a Newquay teenager, through to the finals of the X-Factor, spent most of her free time in the school music room.
Charlie Rundle is one half of MK One.
The duo sings live for the second time on Saturday, before hearing their fate based on the public vote on Sunday.
Charlie is calling on Cornwall to get behind them:"Cornwall I need you to vote for me. I was born and bred in Cornwall, I've lived in Newquay most of my life. I need you to vote for me because that's what's going to make it happen this year. When the Cornish are there, nothing can get in their way. I like that.
"Hopefully the public will like what we do and see that there's a flip side to the X-Factor and hopefully we can pull off something quite urban."
John O'Knight taught her at Tretherras and told Pirate FM she was a cut above: "I take very little credit indeed for where Charlie is now. She really was a self-taught musician in lots of ways. A very confident drummer, she taught herself the guitar and she was always a very keen singer.
"From the word go she was very keen on music. She was the sort of student who would always be in Music at lunchtime, after school. She would live in the department."
