Camborne Toy Library Targeted By Theives
10:11am 22nd October 2012
Thieves target a Camborne toy library.
The charity has been set up so families can borrow or try out toys for their children, without going to any expense.
But last week a cash tin containing £40 was stolen from the office.
Anne Greer from Redruth uses the service:
"We're all struggling, only some people go to bigger lengths. But this is a charity. If you're going to steal please don't steal from a charity. This is helping the community.
"It's disgusting actually. There are lots of parents and single mums in this area, it's renowned for being a poor area and this is a really good service which people are using. I think it's awful"
