Did Cornwall's X Factor hopeful get kicked off the show because of a problem with the voting?

Charlie Rundle and MK1 lost their place on Sunday's show.

But the nineteen year old from Newquay says fans were tweeting they could not get through on the phone lines.

She told producers, who assured her that the voting was fine.

But supporters have taken to Twitter to call for the voting to be rerun after they found themselves bottom of the public vote.

Meanwhile Charlie says Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger were chatting to each other during her crucial sing off for a place in the show: "The whole time we were performing Gary and Nicole were whispering to each other, and I thought, I'm trying to sing for my place and they were chatting - that's just rude.

"If I'm trying to sing for my life, don't talk through my performance."

Pirate FM revealed on Monday that MK1 are already being seriously considered by at least two record labels for a contract.

The X Factor says the band's phone lines were checked and no issues were found.
