LISTEN: Under Pressure Plymouth Argyle Boss Speaks
7:01am 24th November 2012
The Plymouth boss insists his team are working hard as they go in search of their first win in eight games.
They take on Chesterfield on Saturday.
Last time they visited Home Park in January 2004, Argyle thumped their opponents 7-0, and went on to win the Nationwide Second Division.
Argyle legend David Friio scored a hat-trick, Nathan Lowndes got two whilst Tony Capaldi and now Truro City manager Lee Hodges got the other.
Now, with the Pilgrims without a win in the league since October 20, Carl Fletcher hopes that his side can recreate that day eight years ago.
Fletcher is without the suspended Darren Purse whilst Rhys Griffiths and Luke Young are injury doubts. Robbie Williams is expected back into training next week whilst Paul Wotton may take a few more weeks to recover from a back operation.
