Parking Spaces Sell for £160,000
7:01am 29th November 2012
Three parking spaces in St Ives have sold for a total of £160,000.
Another two attracted bids of £50,000 each but did not meet the auction reserve.
They are expected to be sold privately in the next couple of days.
Campaigners say some locals have gone from not being able to afford a home to not being able to afford a parking space.
The bays on Barnoon Terrace are near the Tate and a thirty second walk from the beach and into the town centre, with its notorious parking problems.
Two years ago another parking space sold for £60,000.
Bradley's Estate Agents handled the sale.7:01am 29th November 2012
