A Cornish childminder has been jailed for sex abuse.

Truro Crown Court heard how Mitchell Sadler from Perranwell Station, near Truro, groomed a teenage girl online and with gifts before assaulting her.

A jury was told by Recorder Andrew Oldland QC, "You gave her presents and inveigled your way into her trust, You groomed her, you contacted her repeatedly using text messages or internet chat roms, expressing your love for her."
