Rugby: Redruth Game Off

Redruth are told their game with Barking will not be played on Saturday.

Despite the Rec being playable the visitors say the weather in London means they cannot travel to the Duchy.

The RFU has backed their appeal up.


Reds Club Secretary Roger Watson is not happy:


"Our pitch is playable. As far as I am aware I can't ever rememebr the RFU intervening like this before. We're disappointed with the result and I know the NCA are disappointed as well because their regulations are quite clear that the game should have gone ahead."
