Woman Seriously Hurt In A30 Crash

A woman has been airlifted to Derriford hospital after a serious crash on the A30 near Redruth.
The pedestrian was badly hurt after she and a lorry collided by the Avers Junction.
Emergency crews were scrambled to the accident on Friday lunchtime.
Part of the carriageway heading Wesbound between Chiverton Cross and Avers Junction has been closed, and diversions have been put in place.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw a woman with long blonde hair standing by the side of the carriageway before the accident.
Any witnesses are being asked to contact officers on 101 quoting log 229 of 010213.
