Cornwall's pasty lady has missed out on a place in the final of a TV cookery show.

93 year old Eunice Woolcock from Camborne got 4,000 Facebook fans after appearing on Food Glorious Food.

But last night she was knocked out of the ITV show's semi-finals.

Eunice has been baking since she was three. She said: "Mother would be making the pasties for tea, and my two brothers and me, we was that small, we'd be kneeling up on the chairs, and she would give us a little ball of pastry and we would roll it out and she would chop up all the stuff and give it to us, and we would fold it over, and that's how we learnt to make them.

Eunice's secret pasty recipe beat a Devon rival before she was knocked out last night.

She said: "The first thing is, good common sense and a good bit of pastry. Good beef and good vegetables, that's all it is really. And she said she put cream in it. Well, I was astounded."
