X-Ray Changes To Ease Pressure At Treliske

X-ray services are being extended at minor injuries untis to help ease the pressure on Cornwall's biggest hospital.
Treliske has been struggling to cope with a rise in emergency admissions, bed blocking and an ooutbreak of the Norovirus.
Now patients are being urged to use other centres as part of a trial.
Emergency Department Consultant, Dr Andy Virr, said: "If minor injury patients seek medical attention at one of the Minor Injury Units with x-ray cover, patients at both Minor Injuries and the Emergency Department will have less waiting time and be able to get treated more quickly."
The X-ray service is available from 1-5pm at:
St Austell Community Hospital Minor Injuries Unit on Saturday 13 April
Newquay Community Hospital Minor Injuries Unit on Sunday 14 April
Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital Minor Injuries Unit on Saturday 20 April.
