Falmouth Shop Crash
7:31am 13th May 2013
A pensioner has been taken to hospital after his car careered down a bank and smashed into a shop window in Falmouth.
Fire crews had to cut him free at Boslowick on Sunday morning.
Jon Bray works in the store next to the Post Office, where the crash happened.
He sat with the man until paramedics arrived and tells Pirate FM he is lucky to be alive: "We ran up to the front and we saw the car over-tipped on its side and all the railings buckled and stuff. I just went into help mode, ran over to him and just stuck by him to make sure he was OK.
"We heard the bang and obviously straight afterwards there was, one of our aisles directly opposite the front door, was scattered with debris and bits of concrete on the floor and stuff, so that obviously flew through the door."
