Dozens of homes are expected to be without power until mid-morning on Wednesday after gales of up to 70mph battered Cornwall.

Western Power says 75 are still offline.

On Tuesday night, 500 from Penzance to Land's End were hit after the storms downed power cables and trees.

The Environment Agency has nine flood alerts in place from Land's End to Bude.
