A man has died after a car plunged from a cliff in Newquay.
It happened in the Gazzel area, near the Atlantic hotel, this morning.
Coastguards, lifeboats, fire and ambulance crews were scrambled to the scene at around 7.15am.
The car is thought to have fallen around eighty feet, before coming to a rest on a ledge.
Matt at the scene told Pirate FM: "Where the car has come off, there's no real road nearby. They must have had to go off the road for quite some distance for the car to end up at the bottom of the cliff."
Richard, who is staying nearby, said: "You can see it sat there at the bottom of the rocks. It's sat up in the right position, it's not on its top or anything."
