About Bob McCreadie

I was born at an early age in Southend on Sea in Essex, but don't hold that agains tme. I soon learned the error of my ways and moved to beautiful Cornwall!
Being a Presenter is the only thing I ever wanted to do from when I was quite little! I used to sit by the record player introducing the songs and reading out requests to my mum when I was about 5.........aah bless!
I have 5 children, in order of age they are Matthew, Simon, Louise, Carrie and Alison.
Congratulatons to Carrie who after finishing her Psychology degree landed a job with local Insolvency Practitioners, Purnells. You can see a pic of her on their website www.purnells.co.uk
Simon has just landed his dream job, after a lot of hard work and studying he is joining Cathay Pacific as a trainee pilot, and will be heading for Adelaide for a year to finish his training.
Alison works for the NHS in the Ambulance Service, and wants to be a Paramedic! If you call 999 ( hope you don't need to) you might get to talk to her. She loves her job and is very good at it ! Listen to me, I really have got Proud Dad Syndrome haven't I !!!
I'm still only little, although a fair bit wider, and my sense of humour hasn't evolved much since I was 5, but I have realised my ambition and can be heard on your radios from 5am to 9am every weeekday and from 2pm until 7pm on Saturdays and 12pm to 4 pm on Sundays!
When I'm not busy waking up Cornwall I spend my time talking to the world via Amateur Radio. My Ham callsign is G0FGX, and I have a pretty comprehensive radio station at home and another in my car, which allows me to chat with other hams all over the globe.
My other hobbies are Cornish Real Ale and good food. I then try to minimise the effects by taking long walks with my wife Eve and our Westies Phoebe and Toby around the beautiful Cornish countryside.
