Where will he pop up next?
ou can never be totally sure where you will hear or even see James next. His job at Pirate FM makes him the member of the team that is most likely to knock on your front door unannounced... and the presenter most likely to be on your radio when you go to bed AND when you wake up!
You can find out more about James's regular shows here.
James is Pirate FM's "swing jock" - a title he's very proud of, mainly because its such a bizarre name for a job! It means that he's the radio presenter equivalent of a supply teacher for Pirate FM.
He's also a producer at the station and spends a lot of time working on all sorts of projects - which is why you'll frequently hear his name in relation to all sorts of Pirate FM features like The Big School Sing Up, Bob's Bouquet, Cornwall Has Talent, Snow Watch and Bob McCreadie for Breakfast.
The Mawnan Smith Hum
On Monday 1st June 09, this mysterious X-Files-like story made national news. "The Hum" itself is a phenomenon which has 'existed' since the 70s and regularly appears in the news - in fact the week before the Mawnan Smith story, The Hum was in the press and being discussed on "Have I Got News For You?"
This Cornish cluster of Hum-sufferers from Mawnan Smith near Falmouth appeared in The Daily Telegraph here.
I decided to pay a midnight visit to Mawnan Smith to see what I could hear... click the media player below to hear my audio blog.
