The Pirate Trust Cornwall in Need Appeal relies on your help to raise money that’s going to stay locally in Cornwall.

Charities, individuals and organisations are able to apply to the Pirate Trust for financial help. Be assured every penny raised stays locally and goes to great causes, just like…

 

· Kidz R Us is a Youth Theatre charity based in St Ives, and a donation of £200 from the Pirate Trust went towards the purchase of DVDs and monitors for the Children.

 

· Saltash Girl Guiding have been raising money throughout 2007 for their 'Fence Appeal' a donation of £500 from the Pirate Trust has enabled them to go ahead with the building work.

 

· St Pirans Playschool in Delebole received £250 for outdoor equipment and toys for the young-uns.

 

· POD is a company who visits Children in the Royal Cornwall Hospital to give them entertainment, education and brighten their day a little, the Pirate trust gave a grant of £600 to pay for ward visits for the next year.

 

· Bobby Roberts needed a grant for a Powerchair so he can get out and about. The Pirate Trust gave him the finance he needed for his powerchair.

· ‘the Pirate FM listeners’ for donating into the collection tin on James Dundon’s Fairground Organ, we raised £122.23p in 2007

 

· ‘Jeff Howe’ who paid £600 for Signed England Football Shirt which we auctioned off on ebay

 

· ‘The Lenney family’ who donated £25 as a thank you gesture to Pirate FM for broadcasting and finding their lost Springer Spaniel ‘Misty’
