We all thought they died out four thousand years ago, but are woolly mammoths still roaming the earth?

A video has surfaced of a creature crossing a river in Siberia.

Some people think it is a lost elephant while others reckon it is a bear carrying a fish.

But paranormal investigators think it could be proof the creatures never became extinct at all.

The footage was apparently shot by a government engineer in the remote Chukotka Autonomous Okrug province and was passed to The Sun newspaper.
