Cornwall is hit by storms

As Cornwall welcomed 2014, the Duchy was battered by some of the worst weather conditions in years.

Gale force winds, combined with heavy rain and exceptionally high spring tides meant that Cornwall was hit by flooding, and damage to the coastline.
