This week is ‘Fund a Flight’ week for Cornwall Air Ambulance, raising awareness and money for the lifesaving charity.

We are supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance to make sure they can continue to pluck us to safety in our times of need.

Every year the Cornwall Air Ambulance takes part in over 700 life saving missions, with each one costing an average of £4,000, so each donation or pound raised is doing its bit. It is an extra special year for them too, celebrating their 30th anniversary, so let’s help them to celebrate in style.

You can take part in a couple of ways this week

Firstly, you can head over to the Cornwall Air Ambulance Fund a Flight donation page and pledge your money and help to keep the Air Ambulance in the air. The charity receives no national lottery or direct government funding  so every penny really does count. Do something amazing and act now.

Secondly, if you are a business you can take part in our presenter auction. Each day you can bid to have Lucy, Neil, Holly, Johnny or station manager Mark come and work for you the following day. These bids are going straight to Cornwall Air Ambulance, so you’ll be donating to a truly valuable cause.

Each day we open the bidding at 8am and close bids at 3.30pm.

The winning bidder will have the auctioned presenter with them the following day. Your bid will be donated to Cornwall Air Ambulance too, so your business will be helping to keep the crew in the air.

A grand total of £1576 was raised by auctioning off a few of our presenters.  Thank you so much to everyone who bid and to the winners themselves.
