Trereife House

Trereife House is a beautiful family-run estate, steeped in Cornish history! 

The house is set in stunning countryside just west of Penzance, with long views across Mount's Bay to St Micheal's Mount. These are all beyond the modern parterre garden, mature woodland and a small field with horses, which are part of Trereife's grounds. 

The gardens come into their own from as early as Febuary. Magnificent magnolia, ancient wisteria, vibrantly coloured rhododendrons and enbankments lined with daffodils offers the perfect setting for stunning, romantic photography to treasure from your day forever.

White Radish

White Radish are an independent Cornish wedding catering provider, run by a highly experienced duo who harbour a real passion for food!

Combining years of experience within the food and hospitality industry and quality produce from their own farm, they are able to showcase the fantastic food our British farms and coastal waters have to offer. 

Only the highest quality, local ingredients will be used for your wedding, to create imaginative dishes inspired by a passion for fine food and underpinned by the British seasons.

Included with this voucher is a two-tier semi naked wedding cake - a Victoria sponge with jam, buttercream and fresh fruits! As well as this, you get the hire of the cake stand and cake knife.

You'll also receive a table plan with an easel and menus for each table as well as a list of recommended suppliers in Cornwall. The voucher is also inclusive of White Radish chefs, food service staff and a catering co-ordinator.

White Radish T&Cs

  • Equipment Hired from a Third Party
  • The hirer is wholly responsible for all equipment hired from a third party from the time of delivery until it is collected. White Radish are happy to organise the hire of equipment on behalf of the Client; however, this is a separate contract between the Client and the hire company. The hirers should, in their own interest, make sure the equipment is insured against breakage, loss or damage.
  • Client’s use of White Radish’s Property and Client’s Personal Property or Gifts
  • The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by White Radish for the event, including any damages caused by the Client's guests. 
  • White Radish will not be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the Client or gifts brought onto the event premises by the Client’s guests
  • Clients Own Food and Drinks
  • White Radish accept no liability for any food or drink supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products supplied by the Client themselves) in addition to those arranged by White Radish.
  • White Radish will happily serve a Client’s arrival drinks and table wines during their event subject to waitress fees and corkage fees at our discretion, please ask for further details.
  • Event Over Runs
  • If a staffed event should over run and any staff are required to stay beyond the agreed time, the Client agrees to pay White Radish additional staff costs at the previously agreed rate. White Radish will raise an additional invoice following the event for these additions, for which payment will then be due within 14 days by the Client
  • Clear Down of Event 
  • White Radish will clear away up until the previously agreed staffed time. After White Radish staff have exited the venue, it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is cleared and cleaned to a satisfactory standard according to the venue’s policy. It is also the Client’s responsibility to ensure any remaining third party hired equipment is packed away ready for collection. 
  • The Client must ensure that the venue is advised on previously agreed staff hours of White Radish and that they are suitable with their closing down procedures. 
  • Any food waste will be taken away and disposed of by White Radish. Any other waste or recycling (including glass bottles) is the responsibility of the Client to dispose of.
  • Liability of White Radish
  • White Radish has and will maintain sufficient Public Liability Insurance for events of the nature of the booking. A copy of our certificate is available upon request. 
  • White Radish accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing White Radish public liability limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate. 
  • Force Majeure
  • White Radish shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond White Radish’s control and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, venue closure or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
  • Dietary Requirements and Allergies
  • White Radish are pleased to cater for special dietary requirements and request that details of specific needs are confirmed at least 14 days before the date of the event. 
  • White Radish will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Client’s menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 14 days prior to the event). Although every effort will be made in the case of a severe allergen, White Radish cannot guarantee there will not be traces of the allergen in question. This is because White Radish prepare all the food in a professional kitchen where other allergens are used.
  • Food Safety
  • White Radish follows strict health and safety guidelines. 
  • Chilled food can only be left out of refrigeration for a maximum of four hours. After this time, the food will be deemed unsafe and consequently disposed of. 
  • Hot food on a buffet can only be kept out (below 75 degrees) for a maximum of two hours and will then be deemed unsafe and disposed of. 
  • White Radish cannot therefore allow food to be left at a venue to the Client’s disposal, unless pre-arranged and a leftover food waiver form has been signed and returned. This must be completed before the Event date.

Absolute Canvas

  • The Company Undertakes:
  • To deliver the Equipment on the Delivery Date and to proceed to erect it for use on or before the commencement of the Use Period. 
  • To dismantle and remove the Equipment from the Site as soon as reasonably practicable after the Use Period.
  • The Client Undertakes:
  • To give notice to or obtain any necessary permits from local authorities and/or the Site owners prior to erection. 
  • If any part of the Equipment includes electrical apparatus to provide such power points or supply as may be reasonably required by the Company within 15 metres of the Equipment. 
  • Not to enter the Equipment while it is being erected or dismantled by the Company. 
  • To keep any part of the Equipment that is a framed structure or a tent completely closed and secure and in particular any door in place and fastened when not in use. 
  • The client shall be responsible for and indemnify the company against any loss of or damage to all hired equipment whatsoever the cause, however on 
  • Payment of damage waiver fee the above does not apply. 
  • Not to use any lighting, heating, cooking or other gas or electrical appliances of any kind without the previous consent in writing of the Company. 
  • Not to tamper with the structure or any part of the Equipment and in particular not to affix or suspend from the Equipment any item whatsoever without the Company’s prior written consent.
  • All marquee equipment must be fully insured for damage or loss for the entire period of hire the client must either: Provide evidence of their own insurance cover for the marquee with the company’s interest in the marquee noted on the policy or take out the company’s damage waiver facility for a maximum of £50,000 and pay an additional 5% of the price of the marquee hire however the client must also pay the first £500 on any claim on this policy.
  • Exclusion of Liability
  • The Company will make every effort to complete the erection of the Equipment on or before the commencement of the Use Period provided that the Client has complied with the undertakings set out above. If the Equipment is not erected before the commencement of the Use Period the Client shall have the right to withdraw and the Company shall return all monies paid. If the Equipment is not erected because of delays due to weather or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control the Company shall not be liable to pay further compensation to the Client. 
  • The Company will take all reasonable care to avoid any damage to the Client’s own equipment but cannot be responsible for any loss suffered by the Client in respect thereof other than as a result of the negligence of the Company’s servants, agents or contractors.
