What is The Child Of Courage Award?

Awarded to a child who has demonstrated exceptional courage and maturity beyond their years.

This award is to recognise a child under the age of 16 who has excelled in a certain situation. Do you know a child who has battled against the odds to succeed? Perhaps you have a young mastermind in the family, or an up-and-coming sporting star?

Maybe you know a child who looks after a poorly parent or has overcome personal adversity and always does it with a smile?

WINNER: Eli Ralph

Most eight-year-olds are gaming, surfing the web or hanging out with mates.

That's where Eli Ralph from Newquay is a super special.

His older brother has complex autism and severe Tourette’s but Eli takes all the challenges and sleepless nights in his stride.

He's bravely called the emergency services when Malachi was in crisis.

He's had stuff thrown at him but calmly responds "it's OK - we're here".
