If you are age 16 and under and have a budding artistic streak or are simply great at selfies, then you are a step away from being our grand prize winner of “I am Art”!

Pirate FM and Tate St Ives are asking children (Parents) and Schools to enter the competition.

What is involved?

We are asking children to take selfies, turning themselves into art. 

Why not get creative and simply snap a selfie of yourself in a creative or artistic way? Use face paints, pose as the Mona Lisa, recreate masterpiece paintings or sculptures. Whatever you like! 

Once you have your snap, use the form below and upload your selfie image to enter.

5 winners will be announced on Neil and Lucy's breakfast show on Friday 6th October 2017. 4 runners up will receive:

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with Pirate FM’s standard terms and conditions available here.

By entering this competition you may receive updates from Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives regarding offers, news and events in Cornwall. You may receive communications, although you can unsubscribe at any time if you wish to do so.

Competition is open to children aged sixteen and under. You must have the permission of a parent or guardian to enter.

One grand winner will be given the opportunity to open the new Tate St Ives. Entrants must be available on Saturday 14th October.

Three runners up will receive VIP tickets to the reopening of the Tate on Saturday 14th October and an art pack.

There is no cash alternative to any of the prizes.

Entries can be made via this webpage until 12:01 on 4th October 2017.

The winners may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition.

Pirate FM accepts no liability in relation to the holiday or its delivery.

You must have the permission of the parent/guardian of anyone under 18 appearing in the photo.

Photos must not contain material that is indecent, inappropriate, sexually suggestive or defamatory.

Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives reserve the right to reject, alter or remove any photo at their absolute discretion.

Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives are under no obligation to use any or all of your photo.

You agree, by submitting your contribution to grant Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenseable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution.

Further, by submitting your contribution to Pirate FM, you: warrant that your contribution; is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives for all the purposes specified above; is not defamatory; and does not infringe any law; and indemnify Pirate FM against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by Pirate FM and the the Tate St Ives as a result of your breach of the above warranty; and waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and publication on Pirate FM and the purposes specified above.

You shall have no right of review or approval and no claim arising out of use, alteration, distortion or effect.

If you do not want to grant to Pirate FM and the Tate St Ives the rights set out above, please do not submit your photo.

The prize is one weekend’s holiday worth up to £500 from Carbis Bay Holidays, you will be required to arrange your own travel to and from the property. 

Carbis Bay Holidays terms & conditions:  The prize must be redeemed and a holiday taken between 1st November 2017 - 30th September 2018.  Dates are subject to availability.  Standard Carbis Bay Holidays booking terms and conditions will apply at all times (read in full at www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk).
