Impressive first feature The Cliff Top Sessions directed by local folk legend Martha Tilston Opens Cornwall Film Festival 2019 A beautifully observed music documentary starting a directed by Martha. To watch this film is to open the door on that late-night music session that most of us rarely get to see. The art of song captured like never before on film. Set on a wild winters night in a secret clifftop cottage in deepest Cornwall, nine musicians and a camera crew collide. Cult songwriters from around the UK were invited to play their best song; no backing band, audience or music industry - Just a house on the edge of a cliff, roaring fire, guitars, grand piano and the invisible magic of song that was palpable that night. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Martha. Tickets The Poly Box Office £9-11
