Local Radio Day 2017

Local Radio Day - Cornwall's Pirate FM

Pirate FM is proud to be Cornish – so proud we built a radio station here.

On the 26th May Pirate FM will join more than 70 other proper local radio stations across the UK to mark Local Radio Day.

We think being a local radio station should mean more than doing the bare minimum. We think it should mean employing local people, basing your business in the area it serves – and helping make a difference to the community we all live in.

So on the 26th we’re going to do just that, ensuring that every baby born in Cornwall is given the best possible start in life. But we’re going to need your help – click here for all the details.

And we’re going to give one small business in the Duchy £10,000 in marketing. If you think that could help transform your organisation register here.

Take a look at some of the other things Pirate FM and Cornwall have done to help make a difference to the Duchy… like our Local Hero Awards and giving one deserving family a Christmas to remember.

Tune into Pirate FM on Local Radio Day, 26th May to help celebrate proper local radio.
