One person has been treated by paramedics after a crash near Liskeard.

Firefighters from the town and Bodmin were called to the area near Lean Quarry at Hornigtops, after reports they were trapped.

When crews arrived on Sunday morning, they found the casualty still in the vehicle.

Police were also at the scene, after it happened just before 10am.

A spokesperson from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Liskeard, and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised following reports from the police of a road traffic collision with persons trapped.

"On arrival crews found one casualty still in the vehicle but not trapped.

"Crews made the vehicle safe.

"Police and ambulance were also in attendance".
