Man Arrested After Woman's Body Was Found Near Looe

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found near Looe.

The 28 year old was discovered in a car on the A387 on Friday evening.

Police were called to a layby close to West Wayland Caravan Park between Polperro and Looe at 5.30pm

A 34 year old was questioned at Newquay and has been bailed until July.

Detectives have launched an investigation and say they are calling death "unexplained."

A post mortem has been carried out but police are waiting for the results of further forensic tests to determine the cause of death.
