Hospital Death Apology

Cornwall's biggest hospital has apologised after a cancer patient died during a norovirus outbreak without her family at her bedside.

Trevor Laws was told he could not visit his wife Janet at Treliske because of the sickness bug.

She died the next day.

Bosses who have met the Janet's family this week say they have chamged the way they deal with families during outbreaks.
