Newquay Man Faces Terror Charge

A Newquay man has been arrested by counter terror police.
Lyes Outiren is due in front of Westminster magistrates later.
Teams from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit charged the forty-three year old on suspicion of possession of material for a terrorist purpose.
Superintendent John Green, Local Police Area Commander, said: "I would like to reassure the community that this investigation should have very little impact on local residents.
"The arrest was pre-planned and was not made in response to any immediate threat to public safety in Newquay.”7:01am 14th November 2013
