Man Accused of Kidnapping in Falmouth

A man has appeared in court - accused of kidnapping a woman in Falmouth.

James Alexander Campbell is facing charges of false imprisonment, intent to commit a sex offence and carrying an offensive weapon.

The forty-one year old with no fixed address has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Truro.

He will appear again at the city's Crown Court on the 27th November.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have seen something at Pendennis Point on Monday the fourth of November.

They are being asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference GP/13/2228.
