The sons of a Cornish GP found dead at his creekside home are paying tribute to their dad.
Police are still waiting to question a woman on suspicion of Gary Hughes murder after she was taken to hospital on Friday morning.
Now floral tributes have been left at the sixty year old's house in Feock.
One is from his son Mark who wrote: "Miss you so much. I’ll never be as good a father or doctor as you but I’ll try. Just hope I can make you proud."
Mark's brother Sam added "Always been an amazing father throughout my lifetime. You will never be forgotten."
Police say the fifty-eight year old woman's injuries are not thought to be life threatening - and they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death at this stage.
In a statement the Hughes family said: "“We are devastated by the tragic loss of our devoted and caring father. He was always there for us and we cannot believe he is gone.
"The last time we were all together was at the wedding just six weeks ago.
"We will always cherish the happiness we shared as a family that day.”6:40am 21st November 2013
