Man Seriously Hurt in Crash

A man is fighting for life after a crash with a car in Penzance.

It happened on Alverton Road at around 5.40pm on Tuesday evening.

The man in his twenties was airlifted to Derriford by a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.

Police say he has life-changing injuries.

The area was closed for around four hours for investigation work to take place.

They are trying to trace witnesses and are asking them to call 101.
