A World War Two bomb has been exploded at Watergate Bay.

The device was uncovered on the beach after the storms.

It took two days of battling the tides, before experts could manage a controlled explosion.

Newquay Inspector Dave Meredith captured the moment on film.

It has had more than 2000 hits on YouTube.
