A man is making a second appearance in court accused of murdering a Cornish pensioner more than 10 years ago.

38 year old Patrick Curran from Delabole will appear at Plymouth Crown Court on Thursday morning.

It is after a short hearing at Bodmin magistrates on Wednesday morning, after being charged over the death of Joan Roddam.

The 74 year old was found dead at West Downs back in 2003.

The killing is thought to have been subject to a "cold case" review.
