A body has been pulled from a flooded china clay pit in St Dennis.

Divers hauled it from the Trelavour Pit off Hendra Road on Sunday afternoon.

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious but think it could have been there for a while

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called just before 3pm on Sunday, 13th April 2014 following the discovery of man's body by a member of the public at Trelavour Pit, Hendra Road, St Dennis.
