Cornwall and Devon go head to head in the Tamar Cup.

The rugby match is taking place at Launceston.

It starts the build up towards the County Championship.

Cornwall will face three games in the opening stages to try to get to Twickenham.

Coach Graham Dawe reckons it's about getting momentum playing together, he said: "It's obviously a friendly, in adverted commas, against Devon. Cornwall and Devon will both be using it as a warm up match for their county championship campaigns, so you know, we've got to be fairly relaxed about the situation, and both teams are probably going into the game with no training in the previous week.

"The ultimate aim is introducing a few guys to the Cornwall system, the squad, the shirt and just getting some sort of momentum going playing together, underneath it all there is obviously a deep rivalry between Cornwall and Devon as a union and obviously Cornwall players and Devon players."
