Liskeard Schoolboy Attacked

Police hunt a gang of teenagers who attacked a schoolboy in Liskeard.

The 12 year old lost a tooth and suffered bruises after being punched and kicked in the face on Thursday.

Officers want to hear from anyone who might have seen something on the pathway between Park View and Castle Park.

Devon and Cornwall Police have released the following information:

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 12 year old boy by three teenagers in Liskeard yesterday (8 May).

The boy was on the pathway between Park View and Castle Park around 5.30pm when he met three boys walking in the opposite direction.
 
He was punched and kicked in the face by one of the teenagers before being held down by the other two and punched again in the face by a second boy.

The victim, from Liskeard, lost a tooth and sustained bruising to his face during the attack.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and for anyone who may have any information which could assist the investigation.
