Newquay Stabbing Appeal

There is a new plea for help after a man was stabbed in Newquay in broad daylight.

A 42 year old man was seriously hurt on Thursday lunchtime in Fernhill Road.

Police are reassuring locals. A statement said: "The victim knew the suspect so this was not a random attack.

 
"Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward with information that will assist with the arrest of the suspect.
 
"Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may recognise the description of the suspect.
 
"He is described as a man between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall, bald, of average build and was possibly wearing a grey top."
