The motorcycle stuntman who came off the Wall of Death at the Royal Cornwall Show tells Pirate FM - it's part of the job.

Witnesses report hearing a loud bang and screaming from the tent - where performers ride bikes around a vertical track.

Ken Fox was airlifted to hospital after coming off his bike halfway through a performance on Saturday.

Amazingly - he only suffered cuts and bruises.

He told Pirate FM: "They're probably the worst injuries I've had but you only have them for a week and then you're back to normal again.

"I'm married, I've got two kids - I get more injuries than that every week off of them.

"I love it. It's what I thrive on. You don't want to get hurt, you don't want to be banged about and you definitely don't want to frighten the audience. You're there to thrill the audience and entertain the audience - and that makes it really worthwhile."
