Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 8:02am 19th June 2014

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

No - it is a US stealth bomber refuelling in mid-air over Cornwall.

The military jet designed to be invisible to enemy radar was videoed over RAF St Mawgan on Wednesday afternoon.

The 737 million dollar B-2 Spirit was used in Afghanistan and is one of two currently based in the UK.

It was connecting with a refuelling boom as part of a training exercise.
