Holiday Scam Warning

Families stung by a scam over holidays to Cornwall say they do not want others to go through it.
It is after Pirate FM told you some have lost up to six hundred pounds by booking caravan breaks which did not exist.
Clare Barton was one.
She is lucky to have been offered a free replacement bank holiday break in Newquay: "I am stupid because it would never have been true would it! For two hundred and thirty pounds, which was too cheap. But, we paid it thinking 'Well that would be the deposit we would pay normally' and the next morning I woke with a funny feeling and I thought 'Oh God, what have we done?'
"We were absolutely mortified because our little girl was excited about going and very frustrated because we are not made of money like a lot of people and that left us with no money to book anything else"
