Cornish Elvis Impersonator Will Face Jail

An Elvis impersonator who sparked a massive manhunt which closed a Cornish primary school will face at least five years in jail.

Derrel Weaver from Widegates near Looe was charged after a domestic incident.

Speaking via video link at Truro Crown Court, the 60 year old pleaded guilty to 11 firearms offences.

The judge told him it is inevitable he will go to jail.

He will be sentenced next month.
