Looe Man Released Without Charge

A Looe man questioned on suspicion of attempted murder has been released without charge.

The 44 year old was arrested after a woman in her fifties called paramedics on Monday.

Two more men from the town picked up on suspicion of assisting an offender are out on bail.

They are a 66 year old and a 47 year old.

Police say they are still investigating what happened in a car park on Sunday night.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A 44 year old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released without charge at this time pending further  police investigation.
 
"A 66 year old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail until 16th December pending further enquiries."
