Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder, after a woman was left with serious injuries near Looe.

A 57 year old woman was treated by paramedics after the incident in the early hours of Monday 29th September and taken to Derriford hospital.

Now a 44 year old from Millendreath has been remanded in custody by Bodmin magistrates, to appear in front of Truro Crown Court next month.

He is also charged with having an air weapon when prohibited for five years and possession of ammunition for an air weapon when prohibited for five years.

Two more men from Looe, arrested by police on suspicion of assisting an offender, are out on bail until next month.
