A Cornish couple get engaged with a little bit of help from Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Dean and Jessica from Penryn were at an event in Leeds seeing the actor and Jonathon Ross on Friday.

Ross had been planning the proposal, and was hoping Arnold would say something over the microphone.

But he invited the couple onto stage, so Dean could pop the question in front of 1000 people.

Jess tells us what it was like, she said: "I just shook from head to toe, I couldn't believe what was going on, and as we walked up to the stage people were shouting 'go on Jess, go on' and I thought are they actually talking about me this can't be happening, it was just so surreal.

"We got to share that amazing moment with him, and Jonathon Ross was taking pictures on Dean's phone, it was just so surreal and I got off stage and thought did that actually just happen.

"Dean's hero is Arnold and it literally made his dream come true, it was just fantastic."

The video has had almost 1 million hits on Facebook.
