There are calls for Cornwall to get money off filling up our cars.

The Chancellor is expected to say a planned fuel duty hike is being cancelled in his autumn statement.

Campaigners are warning that doesn't go far enough.

But locals want a special rural discount in the Duchy.

It is because we depend much more on our cars.

The scheme is already running on the Isles of Scilly.

Edmund King is from the AA, he said: "There still are differences in some areas of up to five pence a litre between various town and cities, particularly if there isn't a competing supermarket nearby.

"There are still differences out there, you can still find it cheaper in some towns that have more supermarkets, so it is still worth making a mental note of the prices as people drive around."
