The man in charge of Cornwall's police admits he may call for the drink-drive limit to be slashed to zero.

Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg is considering lobbying the government for a change in the law.

It comes as Devon and Cornwall Police begin their annual crackdown.

Inspector Richard Pryce: "The message has been around for quite some considerable time and to be perfectly honest it is common sense. So I do get extremely frustrated every year when I look at the figures and I see how many people we test and how many are over the limit.

"If your job relies on your licence you could very much end up losing your job and obviously if your mortgage or your rent payments come from your earnings you could end up losing your home as well."
