Holidays are coming to Looe.

The Coca Cola truck is making its only stop in Cornwall on Monday.

The Christmas icon is at the Harbour Car Park from midday until around 8pm, James Dundon's Home Time show live from the scene on Pirate FM this afternoon.

It is the first time the truck has visited the Duchy.

Officials have laid on a free shuttle bus from five out of town car parks to try to stop jams.

The town council said: "The Christmas truck will be parked on Buller Quay car park, East Looe and will be open to the public from midday until approximately 8.00pm. There will be stalls on the car park and Coca Cola are providing a choir and Christmas festivities.

"Lions Club of Looe and Looe Community Academy will be providing a hopper bus service around the town for local residents, to enable them to leave their cars at home.

"We have arranged out of town parking and a free shuttle bus service will operate continually between car parks during the hours 9am – 9pm."

The car park locations are:

East Looe: The Snooty Fox and Grace Church – Morval
                   Looe Bay Holiday Park

West Looe:  Polperro Car Park (relevant charges apply)
                    Tencreek
Millpool Car Park (relevant charges apply)

Coaches are asked to park in the Millpool car park.

Some parking areas are free, charges will apply in the Millpool and Polperro car parks.
