Christmas Comes Back To Bodmin
1:51pm 23rd December 2014
Christmas comes back to Bodmin.
The town has got a new tree after the original one was vandalised.
The original one had to be taken down after the trunk was split and the lights were cut.
It was designed to commemorate WWI with red, blue and white lighting.
Now a new 28 foot tree has gone up in the same spot on Mount Folly.
Stephen works on the square.
He says it was a sad sight when they took the first one down: "The area had been roped off and they chopped the tree down and chipped it all up. It is terrible, it is a sad reflection on the town, and as usual it is just the behaviour of a few individuals which is sadly going to label the whole town."1:51pm 23rd December 2014
