Teenager Rescued From Tree

A teenager has had to be rescued by an emergency crew, after getting stuck up a tree in Grampound Road.

A team from St Austell was scrambled on Sunday afternoon.

They used a ladder to reach the trapped youngster.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "One appliance from St. Austell attended this incident.

"On arrival the crew used a triple extension ladder to reach a teenage child, who was successfully recovered."
