WATCH: Imagine Policing Here...

He already has more than 50 thousand Facebook followers - now the Isles of Scilly sergeant has written a book.

You might remember Colin Taylor's advert for a new constable, that pulled in applications from places like New Zealand.

Among his other memories, the huge wrap of cocaine seized off a yacht - which actually turned out to be mozarella cheese.

Sergeant Taylor has told ITV News Westcountry that policing the islands is very different and remembers the time he borrowed a child's bicycle to make an arrest.

He said: "To ride across one of the Islands, to hitchhike across to another island, to find the man, breathalize him, arrest him and then hitchhike all the way back with him; that's the sort of thing that maybe my colleagues on the mainland or someone in a metropolitan area would never have experienced in a policing capacity."

And the station on the Islands really does deal with the weird and the wonderful - from fuel thefts to baby seagulls...

The team, headed up by Sergeant Colin Taylor, even made a Christmas song a few years back...
